Important personalities in islam, HAZRAT KHADIJA(A.S)

HAZRAT KHADIJA(a.s)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    The title given to Hazrat Khadija (a.s) bint Khaulaid was Tahira. She belong to a very respectable family of  Bannu Quresh.People used to consider her a very respectable lady.Though she belonged to a very rich family,she was known to be a humble lady.She used to deal with every one with great respect.                                                                                                                                                                  Her father's profession was trading.When her father died she continued with the profession of trading.                                                                                                                                                                   Our Holy Prophet (a.s) was known to be Sadiq (Truthful) and Amin Honest) because he never told a lie and never cheated anybody. Because of these qualities he was respected everywhere.Hazrat Khadija(a.s) was looking for such an honest person to look after her business.She sent a message to him to do business on her behalf and take her business commodities to other cities and countries. Our Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) accepted the offer and went on a business journy. In this journey a slave of Hazrat Khadija(a.s) Maisrah was with him .During the very first business trip he earned a lot of profit.When he came back,the slave Maisrah praised the Holy Prophet(p.b.u.h) a lot.Hazrat Khadija (a.s) was so much impressed by the intelligence, character and honesty of the Holy Prophet(p.b.u.h) that she showed her desire to marry him.At that time Hazrat Khadija (a.s) was 40 years old. acceptedto this proposal.

                                                                                                Hazrat Khadija (a.s) used to look after the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) in every way.When he was upset and depressedfor any reason, she used to share his problems, sympathized with him and thus helped him to get out of his stress.Our Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h)used to go to the Ghar-e0Hira and worship Allah.When for the first time revelation was made to him by the angel Jibrael and was told that he was chosen to be the prophet to guide the mankind, a strange kind of condition overtook him and he started shivering.Whan he reached home he asked his wife, Hazrat Khadija (a.s), to put a blanket on him to overcome this shivering.He told her all the incidents of  Ghar-e-Hira.Hazrat Khadija (a.s) said do not worry.You have never told a lie and are known to be Sadiq and Amin in tah whole of Arab, you helped the poor at the time of need and trouble, you fullfilled the requirements of destitute and the victims, helped the oppressed and respected all his relatives.I am certain that Allah would never leave you alone.In this way she supported our prophet fully and became the first womento embrace Islam.Becauseof this, she has a veryhigh status amongst the Muslim women.She never hesitated to spend large amounts of money for the cause of Islam and for the help of the poor and the needy.She used to respect all her relatives feed the poor.
       Hazrat Khadija (a.s) had a great love for Hazrat Muhammad (p.b.u.h).He did not marry anyone during her lifetime. Once he praised her sincerity by saying that when he had nobody to help him, she was theonly one to do so and encourage him.When everybody falsify, she was the only one to confirm him as the right.
          Hazrat Khadija (a.s) spent 25 years of married life with him.She shared all his pleasures and sadness and respected him thoroughly.She died after 10 years of her husband's Prophet-hood (p.b.u.h), on 10 of Ramazan.
